About Us

After working together in the High-End Real Estate Auction Industry for 25 years, we were hired in 2012 to sell a farm that had been transformed into a wedding venue. As soon as Don visited the property he returned and was "IN LOVE" with everything about it. Though we were not looking for a career change, after learning about the wedding business from the owner, we knew this was something we could do with passion. We completed the purchase in January 2013 and hosted our first wedding 6 weeks later. We are entering our 11th booking season and have hosted over 600 events. Little did we know that we would celebrate our own wedding at Applewood Farm in 2015. It's hard to put into words, but there is something really special about this place, its peaceful, serene, and inviting making it the perfect location to celebrate your WEDDING DAY!!!

AWARD-WINNING APPLEWOOD FARM is more than just your average venue.  From the moment you turn in the gate, you are welcomed by the Southern warmth of this rustic retreat tucked behind rolling hills and picturesque pastures.  As you drive along the winding driveway,  your attention is immediately drawn to the majestic Barn, situated against a breathtaking backdrop of old oaks and manicured pastures.  As you continue past the barn the driveway leads you to the bridal cottage, Farm House and Log Cabin all uniquely different but offering comfortable accommodations for day of event and overnight stays for your bridal party and family. All situated atop the driveway offering breathtaking views of the barn and outlying fields and pastures that complete the 80 acre venue.  

APPLEWOOD FARM offers you the opportunity to personalize your Wedding day to suit your budget and your vision to create your DREAM WEDDING.  Our staff can assist with preparing and planning for your special day.  We provide comprehensive consultations to help you with the planning process to insure that you have a stress free event and enjoy the most memorable day in your life.  

We also offer, at no additional charge, "day of " coordinator / director, for our couples who may not employ the services of a Wedding Planner, but desires the assistance to ensure their vision becomes a reality.  We offer this service so that the couple and their families can relax and enjoy this special day without being personally involved in managing the day. 

Part of the flexibility of working with us at Applewood Farm allows you the option to choose your own vendors for all wedding services needed for  your special day.  We will provide a list of vendors that we have worked with in the past to help you with the process of securing services needed for the event.  However, we can also provide you with all-inclusive options collaborating with several professionals in the wedding industry that together we can provide services to our couples that want to simply the planning process and have everything handled by one team.  *We can provide customized quotes for the services of floral design, cake design and food /beverage services making it more streamlined for managing your wedding day.
